A. General Information

What is Skilltrade?

Skilltrade is a proprietary trading evaluation firm that funds traders who can demonstrate consistency, discipline, and risk management in simulated challenges.

Is Skilltrade a broker?

No. Skilltrade is not a broker. We provide simulated accounts for evaluation and funding purposes, not direct brokerage services.

Who can join Skilltrade?

Anyone aged 18+ worldwide (except restricted regions) can participate. You don’t need prior trading licenses or certifications.

Which trading platforms are supported?

Skilltrade supports cTrader and TradeLocker. You can select your preferred platform when purchasing a challenge.

What instruments can I trade with Skilltrade?

Forex pairs, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies, and U.S. stocks, depending on your account type.

B. Challenge Types

What types of challenges does Skilltrade offer?

Skilltrade offers three challenge types: One-Step, Two-Step, and Rapid Challenge.

What is the One-Step Challenge?

A single-phase evaluation where you must hit a profit target (e.g., 10%) while respecting daily and overall drawdown limits. Passing gets you directly funded.

What is the Two-Step Challenge?

Phase 1: Achieve ~10% profit target. Phase 2: Achieve ~5% profit target. Consistency across both phases earns you a funded account.

What is the Rapid Challenge?

A faster evaluation with lower profit targets (e.g., 5%) and trailing drawdown rules. Designed for traders who want quicker entry into funding.

Can I retake a challenge if I fail?

Yes. You can repurchase a challenge and try again as many times as you wish.

C. Rules & Risk Management

What are the profit targets?

One-Step: ~10%. Two-Step: Phase 1 = 10%, Phase 2 = 5%. Rapid: ~5%.

What are the maximum drawdowns?

Daily Drawdown: ~4–5%. Overall Drawdown: ~6–10% depending on challenge type.

Is there a minimum trading day requirement?

One-Step & Two-Step require at least 5 trading days. Rapid has no minimum days required.

Can I hold trades overnight or over weekends?

Yes. Skilltrade allows both overnight and weekend trading.

Are lot-size restrictions in place?

Yes. Lot-size caps scale according to account balance to promote safe risk management.

Can I use Expert Advisors (EAs) or bots?

Yes, but strategies exploiting latency arbitrage, grid/martingale abuse, or reverse hedging are prohibited.

Is copy trading allowed?

Only self-to-self copy trading is allowed. External signals or multi-account mirroring are prohibited.

Can I trade during news events?

No. Opening or closing positions within 10 minutes before or after high-impact news is restricted.

What happens if I break a rule?

Depending on severity: warning, account reset, or termination. Repeated violations result in permanent ban.

Is there an inactivity period?

The inactivity period is 30 days. You only have to place a trade within 30 days to keep it active and avoid account suspension.

D. Accounts & Funding

What account sizes are available?

From $5,000 up to $200,000 depending on challenge type.

How much can I scale my account to?

Up to $2 million via the scaling plan.

What leverage is offered?

Forex: up to 1:100. Indices: 1:20. Crypto: 1:5.

How long does it take to receive my challenge account?

Usually within a few hours to 1 business day after successful payment.

What happens after I pass the challenge?

You’ll sign a trader agreement and transition to a funded account where real profits are shared.

E. Scaling Program

Does Skilltrade offer scaling?

Yes. Every 3 months, if you earn at least 10% profit and process 4 payouts, your account may be increased by 25%.

What is the maximum scale size?

Up to $2,000,000 in funded capital.

F. Payouts

How often can I request payouts?

Every 14 days, provided you’ve earned at least $100 net profit.

What is the profit split?

Traders keep up to 90% of profits, depending on account type and performance.

What payout methods are available?

Bank transfer, UPI (India only), and cryptocurrency (USDT/USDC).

How long do payouts take?

Typically 7–14 business days after approval.

Are there payout fees?

Skilltrade does not charge internal fees, but banks or crypto providers may deduct transaction charges.

G. Support & Legal

How can I contact Skilltrade support?

Via live chat, email, or our knowledge base.

Does Skilltrade provide trading education?

No. We fund skilled traders, but we do not provide courses or coaching.

Is Skilltrade available in all countries?

No. Traders from OFAC-sanctioned or restricted regions cannot join.

What is the refund policy?

Purchases are non-refundable once a challenge account is issued, except in cases of technical error.
